The Baby K'tan is sized to fit the adult who will be carrying the child (age or weight of child is not a factor). This is what allows you to wear the Baby K'tan without needing to adjust rings or buckles; just slip it on and go!

Enter your clothing size, height, and weight into our calculator to determine your Baby K'tan size. If pregnant or postpartum, use your pre-pregnancy size. Please note: If your carrier does not fit snugly over you and your baby, discontinue use of your carrier. You may need a smaller size.
Additional baby carrier sizing tips
Each person is shaped differently, and like clothing, some people may fit into more than one size or fall in-between sizes on the above sizing chart. (Remember: Sizing is not an exact science)
The following additional sizing info tips should be used as a guide to assist you in ordering your optimal size.
• If in-between sizes or unsure of sizing, SIZE DOWN.
• If 5’2" or shorter - SIZE DOWN (except for XS to XXS).
• If Pear Shaped (larger on bottom) SIZE DOWN.
• Use pre-pregnancy size to determine carrier size.
Did I purchase the correct size?
The Baby K'tan Baby Carrier fabric will stretch slightly to conform to you and your baby.

Below are a few tips that will help you with comfort and to determine if you need a different size:

If you are new to baby wearing, you may think the carrier is too small, however, a snug fit is optimal for securely carrying your child and for good back support. Click here if it feels too snug.

Baby should be 'Visible and Kissable', click here if it feels slightly large.
Here at Baby K'tan, our most important goal is for you to have a carrier that fits you properly with the optimal fit, so that you and your baby are comfortable and secure. Therefore, if the carrier you purchased does not fit correctly, you may exchange it for the proper size in accordance with our exchange policy.
